Edge of the Arctic: East coast adventure

Embark on an unforgettable full-day snowmobile expedition to the remote and breathtaking east coast of Svalbard.

Your adventure begins at our basecamp, where our experienced guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and detailed instructions on how to operate your snowmobile. Whether you are a first-time rider or an experienced driver, we will ensure you feel comfortable and confident before setting off into the Arctic wilderness.

Once underway, we journey deep into Svalbard’s spectacular landscapes, travelling through wide valleys, across frozen terrain, and along glacier-covered mountains.

Throughout the day, we will make plenty of stops to take in the incredible scenery, capture unforgettable photos, and keep an eye out for Arctic wildlife. Svalbard reindeer, Arctic foxes, seals, and a variety of birdlife are often spotted along the route. With a bit of luck, we may even catch a glimpse of the king of the Arctic—the polar bear—from a safe distance.

Our destination is the magical east coast, where dramatic glacier fronts meet the frozen fjords. Here, we will explore towering ice formations and admire the massive icebergs locked into the sea ice, creating a truly unique Arctic landscape.

This is a long and rewarding day in the wilderness, offering a rare opportunity to experience some of the most remote and pristine scenery that Svalbard has to offer.
