Far above the Arctic Circle, Svalbard offers a unique opportunity to witness the aurora borealis dancing across the polar sky. Led by experienced local guides, this tour combines spectacular scenery, fascinating history, and the thrill of chasing one of nature’s most extraordinary phenomena.

Travel by vehicle through the wilderness surrounding Longyearbyen as we search for the best weather conditions and darkest skies. Along the way, we visit some of the area’s most iconic locations, including the historic Northern Lights Observatory, Mine 5, and several scenic viewpoints beneath Svalbard’s dramatic mountain peaks.

Your guide will share stories about the region’s polar history, mining heritage, and the science behind the aurora while helping you capture unforgettable photographs of the night sky.

Every tour is unique, as our route is adapted to current weather and aurora forecasts to maximize your chances of experiencing the Northern Lights at their best. Warm drinks and plenty of photo opportunities are included throughout the evening.
