Your day begins at our basecamp, where our experienced guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and detailed instructions on how to operate your snowmobile. Whether you are a first-time rider or an experienced driver, we will ensure you feel comfortable and confident before setting off into the Arctic wilderness.

Heading east from Longyearbyen, we travel through a series of spectacular valleys before entering Sassendalen, one of Svalbard’s most scenic regions. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and vast open landscapes, this route offers excellent opportunities to spot wildlife, including Svalbard reindeer, Arctic foxes, and ptarmigans.

Our destination is the historic Tempelfjord, a place where stunning natural beauty meets a rich cultural heritage. Along the way, we visit the famous trapping station of legendary trapper Hilmar Nøis. Here, your guide will share fascinating stories about the challenging lives of the trappers who once called this remote wilderness home.

We continue to the spectacular viewpoints at Fjordnibba and Nøisdalen, where panoramic views over Tempelfjord and the surrounding mountains create unforgettable photo opportunities.
